Unichem Convention
The event, held over seven nights in the five-star Shangri La resort in Muscat, was a mixture of usiness, networking and social activities. Of the 350 delegates attending 250 were from the very top of the pharmacy tree together with government ministers, industry professionals and pharmaceutical suppliers.
The event featured three half days of business conference with over 20 speakers from the pharmacy profession, breakouts and workshops discussing current hot topics in pharmacy.
The social activities included dolphin watching, beach Olympics, a golf tournament on the only sand course in Muscat and tours of the Grand Mosque, The Old Souk and Old Muscat. A spectacular sunset cruise on a series of dhows was a fabulous forerunner to a spectacular finale dinner under the stars in a purpose built amphitheatre at the Shangri La.
The event was deemed a huge success, with the client calling it, “quite simply the best event ever”, and of WRG they said “true professionals, we could never have achieved this without you, you made it world class”.
