Rolls-Royce Showroom Opening and Car Launch, The Pearl-Qatar
WRG Qatar was selected to design and produce Rolls-Royce’s landmark showroom opening at the prestigious location of The Pearl-Qatar, their largest showroom to open in the world. Two hundred VIPs attended the evening event in which the showroom was converted into a mystical and intimate environment, with understated elegance and beauty. The aim was to create a ‘luxurious social space’ like the inside of a Rolls-Royce car and bring the brand to life in the environment. This atmosphere was created by a blanket of white dry ice spread across the floor, finely sculpted Rolls-Royce emblems crafted in ice, including a 2 meter high Spirit of Ecstasy sculpture, and soft lighting throughout the space.
The guests were welcomed into the showroom by two dynamic electric violinists, wearing bespoke elegant dresses inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy iconic emblem. The dramatic reveal of the showroom via a kabuki drop of Rolls-Royce branded silks on the front windows was followed by speeches and a reveal of the new Ghost car that was a memorable opening to the event.
The opening was a huge success for Rolls-Royce, gaining strong media coverage in over ten newspapers. The feedback from the client was that the event was ‘stunning’ and delivered with great professionalism and superb attention to detail.
