77 Vision Galleries

WRG were commissioned to design and construct a bespoke environment that would house two exhibitions for the 77 Mta Celebration. To remain consistent with the style of the main event, we constructed an 8 meter diameter pipe of which the exhibits were situated within.

Upon arriving at the event, guests visited the first exhibition, a contemporary gallery that took them on a journey of 77 milestones from the founding of gas to the present day.

Ten local Qatari artists hosted workshops in the months running up to the event that were organised and run by WRG with local Qatari school children from across Qatar. The workshops resulted in 77 pieces of art being created that reflected different themes all relating to LNG and Qatar’s cultural history. The pieces of art were on display throughout the gallery and supported each of the 77 milestones.

Guests visited the second exhibition after lunch, it focused on Qatar’s National Vision 2030 and how the 77 Mta achievement is helping to realise His Highness the Emir’s vision for the future of Qatar.

WRG were responsible for all aspects relating to the exhibitions, including air conditioning and the integral sound system. The total exhibition floor space created was 1,200 square meters.
